The wonderful guys at Cyclescape Ballarat, in particular Matt and Clancy, have been fantastically supportive of this cause. Matt helped me get the Burley Coho XC trailer earlier in the year at a substantial discount and a saving on freight, and Clancy has helped me with tips on long distance training, nutrition/hydration, etc.
Further to that, the guys very generously provided a full professional service of my bike from top to bottom, front to back, to make sure that every part on my bike is as ready as it can be for the thousand-plus kilometres I’m about to throw at it in the next month. They did this completely free of charge to support the charity and I’m incredibly grateful for their efforts, so thanks heaps boys!
They all know their stuff, are passionate about cycling of all kinds and creeds, and have a beautiful showroom in the main street in Ballarat if you just like to browse at nice new machines — if you need anything cycling-related in Ballarat (or Bendigo) pop in and see the fellas at Cyclescape in Sturt Street!
